It’s a gentle way to explore this precious island—sustainable, silent, and kind to nature.
Would you like to see a splashing giant waterfall, a Yakusugi cedar over 3,000 years old, tropical looking gajumaru (banyan) trees, or bathe in Yakushima’s onsen (hot-spring)?
Considering the weather of the day and how much time you have, we can arrange where to go and what to see.
A full-day sightseeing tour usually starts around 9 am and ends around 5 pm.
Requirements:
Without any physical requirement nor challenging, we’ll do our best for you to represent what Yakushima is about.
For your peace of mind, we strongly recommend that all guests arrange their own travel insurance before your trip to Yakushima.
Your insurance should ideally cover medical expenses, emergency evacuation, and outdoor activities such as hiking or kayaking.
